I currently practice the 16:8 intermittent fasting and find it to be very helpful in maintaining a healthy weight and keeping my energy up. For anyone wishing to try intermittent fasting this book is a good start. It will go into other options and modifications you can do to make this work for you as well as some basic exercises and diet info to make this a well rounded, healthy experience. Always check with your doctor before doing any new diet plan, especially one like this. Even though this book targets women, it will also be helpful to men as well. A good read, well researched and worth a look.

As a person who has lived all his life suffering from IBS, I like to keep up on the latest books on the topic. This book has a new wrinkle that is very helpful: not just how that stress can cause gut discomfort, but how babying and caring for our guts (slash/bodies) can have a privileged route to soothing our stress! I particularly was interested in the sections dealing with the following topics: neurological pathways turbocharging the mind/gut connection; stress-related chronic inflammation affecting the vagus nerve; PERMA Principles for calming gut and mind; and regarding the gut as one’s second brain. For anyone looking to optimize both gut and brain, this well-written and enjoyable book is a “must read.” Highly recommended!

Two 'hot' health and fitness-related topics that compliment one another so nicely. Both books are very easy to read and understand, and the content is super valuable. The Walking book inspired me to incorporate a morning walk in my daily routine, which has helped me tremendously both physically and mentally - I have much more energy throughout the day and I just feel happier! The Intermittent Fasting book, on the other hand, has answered all of my questions around the topic and has helped me choose a plan that's right for my body.

As an intermittent fasting enthusiast, I was intrigued by the latest studies suggesting that it may not be ideal for women. That's why I was excited to come across this book, specifically focused on the benefits of intermittent fasting for women. The book is well-supported by research and offers a range of fasting methods to suit different lifestyles. If you're looking for a simple, concise guide to intermittent fasting for women, this book is a great place to start.

In the modern world, where stress and anxiety have become almost ubiquitous, "From Gut Health to Mental Wellness" emerges as a beacon of hope and practical guidance. The author of this insightful book delves deep into the often-overlooked connection between gut health and mental well-being, offering readers a roadmap to reclaiming their clarity and emotional balance through natural solutions. I wrote a similar book on gut health and the author is spot on with their research. Good job.

Sometimes the simple things in life are the most effective. As a keen country walker I have enjoyed the health and well-being benefits of this comparatively gentle form of exercise for many years. This comprehensive and very readable guide enhances that knowledge by giving useful tips to stretch yourself further. There is also excellent advice for those with limited time and on useful equipment and technology.

I have read a plethora of Intermittent Fasting books over the years. This one totally knocks it out of the park. It goes so much more in depth in the psychology of food and the role it plays. The exercise recommendation section goes into great detail as it doesn’t just give options it breaks down the muscle groups utilized and the benefits of each exercise. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book but loved it so much I bought a copy for my kindle. I hope you find it as useful as I have.

Informed by my Oncologist of the importance of Walking and Intermittent Fasting, I found an excellent book on walking by HealthFit Publishing. They have now published a book on Intermittent Fasting for Women, so I immediately got a copy. This was a very insightful and easy read. Losing a few pounds is always lovely, but what I am most interested in is creating a sustainable, healthier lifestyle change. This book will provide you with advice on: * How to loose weight safely and consistently * How intermittent fasting works and affects key hormones * Advice on how to get started and stay on course What I enjoyed the most was the section on how to combine intermittent fasting and exercise (especially walking). Incorporating Walking, Exercise and Intermittent Fasting in my life will get me to my ultimate goal - Live a sustainable happier and healthier life. HealthFit Publishing great job on this book!

WOW! This is a fantastic book. Most people underestimate the power of walking as an exercise. Even those who know it is one of the best form of exercise do not know how to properly utilize it. This book covers every aspect an individual needs to consider regardless of whether he/she is a novice or an experienced walker/hiker. However, if one thinks this book is a one-time read that would be a mistake. This book should be used a reference guide as one goes through their Walking fitness program.

I love that I actually used some of the tips in the book in preparing for walks which I started recently ; knowing what kind of clothing and walking shoes to get , what to use in monitoring my progress and specific exercises that helped me warm up and cool down was a bonus. I am getting more out of my walks as a result of reading this book. I happily recommend it to beginners as well as established walkers. There’s something for everyone in the book.
